    :hi: brye101! welcome to tsikot!

ok lang ang premium gasoline. mas maganda pa nga yata ang performance ng car if using higher octane rating. to make sure, test mo nalang kung san ka merong more mileage --- using lower or higher octane rating then yun na gamitin mo.

Pag long scheduled long drive, ginagamit ko premium, isasagad ko muna maubos yung unleaded, antayin ko mag blinking tsaka ako karga, pag city drive unleaded lang. Mas maganda hatak ng premium sa long drive. Sa city drive, di gaano ramdam.

95 RON should be ok (thats what we use), if I recall correctly thats the minimum requirement.
You can also check the owner's manual and I think thats what it also says behind the fuel filler door.

Meaning, you have to used our premium gas which has 95 RON, since our unleaded is only 93.

Yes, according to Ford, both the 1.8 and 2.0 petrol engines have been E20 capable since 2005.

For the Focus, Ford recommends that you use unleaded fuel with a minimum octane rating of 95 RON.

    Sorry AG4. I was referring to Shell's E10.

Now there's a little bit confusion. One of the SAs and techs I talked with in Ford Alabang recommends Shell's E10. Shell's E10 has only 93 RON, thus doesn't meet the requirement of Ford itself if it says the minimum requirement is 95 RON.
