Could it be that the units you were getting are test-drive/demo/showroom units?
RSL bushing shouldn't give up * 20k kms, unless you drive like a crazy maniac through potholes and/or humps.

sir hindi naman po.... yung bushing na pinalitan ko ang itsura eh... malutong na yung bushing kaya nagbibitakbitak at nadudurog brittle na din.... bihira pa gamitin po yung focus kaya nga kahit 4yrs old na nakaka 20k kms. palang yung tunog nag start sa 19k kms...... may time pa nga hindi nagamit yun more or less 1year.... maybe kaya siguro lumutong yung bushing.... before naman kasi hindi naman tumutunog yun nang ginamit nalang ulit wala pang 1week kumakalampag na agad... pero everything naman is working fine, malaban sa tires nabawasan ng hangin....

July 2nd, 2012 01:42 PM #45eto po mga pinalitan sa focus namin since nabili namin, 5 yrs, 1.6L M/T, daily driven:
1. front shock (forgot if LH or RH) - covered under warranty
2. changed front and rear brake pads once
3. rear stab bushings
4. 1 stud bolt/nut na loose thread (rear)
5. RH engine support
6. battery replaced once
7. air filter

eh sir yung timing? gaano katagal tumatagal before mag pa timing ulit?

:-( pero hindi naman ito mangyayari sa lahat, nagkataon lang natapatan ako. but come to think of it, years down the line...hope that electronic lock lasts as long as the car
