Fellow Ford owners who have cars with the dry-type DCT, below is a detailed article on its construction and capabilities. It makes one good read.

If it cannot be confused it will be very good. The engines they have arent that frugal. Hope they improve the 3rd gen ecoboost.

Their ecoblue diesel engine is amazing hope theyre developing it for euro4/5 applications. Ford has so much room for growth in the asean region.

Since this kind of transmission learns and adapts to one's driving behavior, would it be a possible cause of transmission malfunctions if there are two persons who drive the same car?

My wife and I take turns driving our Fiesta when we travel to QC from the province, and we have different driving styles. Could this be the reason why our unit repeatedly flashes the "Transmission Malfunction" message every few months?
