The F-150 is still bigger than the Ranger, The 5-seater Ranger Double Cab is still shorter than the 2-3 seater Regular cab F-150 and is half a foot narrower.
Its like comparing b-segment sedan to a c-segment hatchback.

The new Ranger will be available with a 166hp 2.5 Duratec for some markets, the base engine of the F-150 is a 302hp 3.7 liter V6.

The model sold as Ranger in the American market is actually not the same Asian one, that is quite smaller and narrower. But even the American Ranger always appeared to be smaller than the F150 but actually it's not so much smaller.

Yes, I am aware of that. I have seen both the USDM Ranger and the current outgoing Mazda-developed Asia-Pacific Ranger.
They are not realted but are very close in size and share the same slim body design.

    2011 USDM Ranger Supercab

    Wheelbase: 125.7in
    Length: 203. 6in
    Width: 71.3in
    Height: 67.7in

    Outgoing 2011 Asia-Pacific Ranger Supercab

    Wheelbase: 3000mm (118.1in)
    Length: 5179mm (203.9in)
    Width: 1788mm (70.4in)
    Height: 1750mm (68.9in)

The biggest difference is the wheelbase, the USDM version has almost the same overall length as the outgoing Asia-Pacific model, but it has a much longer wheelbase and a shorter rear overhang.

Tanong na lang eh magkakano? Kasi if mahal, private individuals lang ang buyers niyan and not everyone needs a big pick-up kasi.

Yung 2.2ltr ang mukhang promising basta hindi naman bare.
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!
