warbird, pwede na ang consumption mo sa explorer mo ah....kaso walang traffic ang route mo noh? with the info na binigay mo...I think you're consumtion is about 5km/l pwede na! hehehe parang gusto ko ng exlpo ah hehehe..... OT na ito....expedition kaya same consumption as the F150 and explorer? 5km/l is okay for me hehehe dream ko talaga XP maski 2001 model pwede na hehehe.... kamusta ba maintenance ng mga Expeditions? mahal ba magmaintain?

The olders XPs can do 5-7kms/l on highways. Some claims that the new ones can do upto 10kms/l. From XP foras in the the U.S. cost of maintenance will defend on the how the vehicle was handled. So if you're planning to buy a second hand XP make sure you check the service record.

Am not sure about the plugs for the 4.2L V6 F150 but the plugs for the 4.6L V8 F150 & XP need replacement at 100k miles, I only have 71k+ Km (45k miles) maybe when I reach 50k miles I 'll change them. Check your schedule it's in the manual.

IAC is also DIY, madali lang. I clean it once a year, pag nagloloko o ayaw mag idle it's usually a dirty IAC or a defective one.

Mercon V is for the 4R70W transmision shudder problem. Your VIN indicates which transmission you have, do a search and you'll know some details about your truck. In case you do have the 4R70W, it requires 13-14 liters of Mercon V fluid * P281/liter (3 yrs. ago) plus a transmission filter, again DIY.

Ride and comfort yes, safety depends on how you maintain and drive your vehicle (high center of gravity! it's not a sports car, it's a TRUCK!), consider also the drivers-vehicles around you, are they safe?

Gas consumption, between 4-5km city and 7-8km on long drives (Sta. Rosa Laguna to Tarlac and back, +/- 350km). I fill up day before my trip at Petron SLEX and fill up again, about 45 liters on my return trip. I use cruise control (*100kph) along NLEX, it's a gas saver.

Nagkaroon ako xp yung new luk 4.5-6 siya pag city driving not bad compared sa crv gen1 ko na swerte na maka 6.5 at least yung xp malaking oto di ba. mas matipid nga ang mga v8 ng ford kumparasa v6 pero mas matulin ang mga v6 nila.
