the thermostat works whether in max a/c or a/c lang, the problem when leaving the switch to the a/c position is you let outside air "polluton" in. kahit ginaw na ginaw na ako laging nasa max a/c yung switch ko. what i did is pinasara ko permanently yung vents so kahit nasa a/c position lang no outside air will enter the cabin

Good day guys! im planning to buy an Expedition sobrang maporma talaga with mags. i just want to ask kung magkano yung consupmtion ng gas ng expedition? and ano mas ok kung sa tipid ng gas? Tahoe, Exped or Suburban? or any suggestion na parang Exped yung dating pero medyo tipid sa gas? Thanks and Godbless u all!

yung 2003 Expedition Eddie Bauer ng dad ko mga 3km/l ang average FC nya sa city driving tapos mga 9km/l na pinaka tipid nya kasi 5.4L V8 ang makina nya..

sa pinagpipilian mo Expedition ang vote ko..

sir for me halos parepareho lang fc ng mga type mong sasakyan. . .para masa maganda consumption mo get the 4x2 model. . .tas keep the engine, filters, etc. in good condition, good driving habits. . .these will help

gemikee: V8 SUV & tipid sa gas is an oxymoron. hehehe.

Why don't you just get a 7-seater BMW X5 3.0d? Faster (255kmh ecu-locked speed), being a crdi-turbo matipid and siempre, German. ^_^

Don't get me wrong, I like the ride of Expe but the gas consumption (even for the elite people) is just horrible. Between it and Tahoe, I like Tahoe better. ganda rin ng ride nito. Tested one with remote start. cool din pala yun pero novelty lang.

Thanks sa mga reply guys. ang budget ko kasi mga 800k to 1.5M na car. BMW X5 is one of my choices but i guess its 3M right? by the way yung car na hinahanap ko yung maporma pero nag aaverage ng 6km/L and up. kahit parang FORTUNER yung datingan kasi maporma and umaabot lang sya ng 7km to 8.5km/L. any suggestion guys? Pare question lang. Kung ang 5.4 na engine 3km/l ang takbo. What about the 4.6 engine na Expe?

Get a used Prado 03 up. It should be a little higher than you rbudget but it's worth it.
