Muntik na ROLL OVER yun expe ko
Buti na lang wala ako. They were running 110kph when the stupid damm continentals RAPTURED!!!!!! on the rear at NLEX.
The vehichle was zig zaging all over NLEX according to my driver and when they finally came to a stop on the shoulder some of my paint jobs on the rear fender flairs and step board were scratched deep by the steel belted radials of continentals.
The tire are this thick and no signs of thread being seen when this happened it's a good thing i had new goodyear on the front tires.
One good came out of this is now I have 2 more new tires again and all my tires are now Goodyear.
beware of the continentals I had about 50T on the odometer when this happened.
Even with the tires looks ok and no need to replace I strongly recommend that replacement should be made at 40T kms

May 4th, 2006 09:06 PM #852sayang, just read this thread. from our experience, hindi maganda goodyear at/s'. we had them on a feroza, vitara, f-150 (rt/s), and sport trac. madalas sumingaw, parang magnet sa mga pako
. yung sa sport trac kahit di napapako madalas pa rin mabawasan ng hangin. bumukol din yung mga sidewalls kahit below 30Tkm pa lang. problem solved when we switched to bridgestones.

I notice that too. Goodyear tires tend to bulge easily.

Thank goodness your Expedition didn't roll over.

rebel..

promdiboy,
Meron kasi bayaw ko nyan ako driver nya pag may long drive sya for two years lagi ko gamit yan kaya medyo kabisado ko exped , till bumili sya ng toyota sienna (wla pa yata nyan sa pinas)
