Some of you may find this useful unless you operate both AC at the same time.

Some 2003-2004 Expeditions produced before 03-16-04 may exhibit an intermittent loss, or diminished A/C regester airflow. This is contained in Ford Article 04-5-9 Published 03-12-04.

Problem most often occurs when driving on the highway in excess of 30 min. in high humidity. This is due to ice formation in the evaperator core. This condition occurs only when the rear climate control is either not present, or not turned on.

The fix consists of the following:

4L1Z-19E992-AA kit evaporator freeze
W701696-S301 fastner

Operation 040509A for Navigator
Operation 040509B for Expedition

To service, install an evaporator assembly-mounted thermostatic cycling switch and disable the TXV-mounted thermostatic switch, using service Kit 4L1Z-19E992-AA. For vehicles built on or after August 2003, it is also necessary to order and install fastener W701696-S301. For installation procedures refer to the Service Kit instruction sheet

leder interia quoted the job for 55,000 and kelseat for 74,000.
now i'm wondering whether the difference between the quality of their works is so great or not, but one thing is sure...... 19,000 is 19,000.
i can buy another pair of alpine speakers for my rear door, a set of window visors, a rear end chrome finisher, i can have my front windshield tinted at winterpine, and still have some change for a couple of sanmig beer while listening to the fine music coming out from my newly installed front-door speakers.
i just hope mabigyan ako ng big discount ng kelseat, mas mrami kasi akong naririnig na praises sa kelseat.

From what I heard and know OK ang Kelseat pero mahal.

Yun steering wheel mo lalagyan mo ba ng wood din? kasi yun pinost mo na site shows the steering wheel with WOOD.

Ang mahal naman convert ng captain's chairs? alam ko arm-rest lang lalagay nila eh. hindi naman papalitan yun buong upuan sa likod just remove the center then put arm-rest.

how do you feel pag nababasa niyo na ang mga expedition owners branded as mayayabang? Diba parang nakakalungkot na branded ka kaagad, parang naayawan mo na ilabas sasakyan mo? and pag triple numbers mas mayabang pa lalo?

rebel, di ko lalagyan ng woodtrim steering wheel ko, ipapa-leather ko na lang. Bka di na ko magpaconvert ng captains chair, over sa mhal ang sinisingil, saka di makahiga yung anak ko sa 2nd row, umiiyak, hehe, tinanggal ko kasi yung middle seat.

i bet madali ma access ang 3rd seat without the middle seat on the second row. malas mo lang hindi payag anak mo heheheheh.

Promdiboy, sa atin lang naman we love the expe and hindi natin binili ang expe para maging mayabang. for me the reason I bought the expe is for safety since I travel manila-clark almost daily and 2x a month to pangasinan.

Skid plates are originally designed as off-road equipment.

Ano yung skidplate for Expeditions?

Hindi ba katulad nung 'skidplates' na binebenta for CR-V's?

Yung sa Honda kasi skidplate lang sa pangalan. Pero it's made of plastic and won't skid over anything without destroying itself in the process.
