March 17th, 2004 10:06 AM #252yup, f150 supercrew ang gusto ko rin. full seating for five and still a huge bed.
yung sa f150 supercab ko, i lifted the rear seat to put a pair of 12 inch subs under the seat and it made the seating more comfortable dahil hindi na masyadong bent ang knees mo when sitting. problema lang, kung six foot two or so ka, tatama na ulo mo sa atip. okay lang yon kasi 5'7" lang naman ako

dadating brod ko bukas from detroit, dala alpine speakers, weathertech rubbermats, ....
....and the Dielectric connector grease from pepboys.....sana mawala na anak ng teteng na rattle sa driver's door.
pwede kaya pa-tint ang front windshield ng buo, walang putol ? okay ba ang magic neutral ng platinum?

March 18th, 2004 09:52 AM #255109, sa soundsystem, i put a pair of 12 in round solobaric subs under the rear seats and in the front i put tweeters, midrange and midbass. ang biggest problem was where to put all the amps. what i did was to take out my center console and i fabricated a custom console to house my three amps and active crossover.
expy ang dala mo diba? i suggest you buy the prefab kickpanel enclosures from qforms. they will fit a tweeter and a 5.25 inch midrange. tapos sa front doors mo, that's where you put your 6.5 inch midbass. and subs and amps naman, malaki ang lugar sa rear.
for me, that would be a very nice setup. you will need two amps lang and an active crossover with a bandpass output for the rear out. i also replaced my headunit with a single in dash para madali na lang. kapoy kasi in my opinion ang changer.
the setup will be like this, from the headunit, signal will go to a 3 way active crossover. the front output of the xover will go to the front channels of a four channel amp. these front channels will drive the separates in the kickpanels. playing maybe 300hz and above.
the rear output of the xover will be bandpassed from 70 to 300 hz and will go to the rear channel of the four channel amp. these rear channels wil srive the midbasses in the doors.
and rear out of the xover will go to the sub amp and drive as many subs as you want.
with this kind of setup, you get good clarity because it is a 4 way setup and with the kickpanels, you can always remove them in the future to return the truck to stock. the imaging of the kicks are also pretty good because they have been researched na by qforms. they go for about 200 dollars ata

My friend from LA just arrived and he brought me a new brochure for the 04 which included a photo of the PREMIER pacakge appearance.
I tried looking for pics online but can't find any site that have this.
I notice that the signal light for the side mirrors was clear (like the lincoln) instead of amber.

I just talked with the owner of Thunder and they now have parts for the 03/04 expeditions if you don't want to buy it from the dealers.
someones are (at last!) loudly asking, "why did they turn off the countdown timers?"
