Hi Sir.
The way I understand it, the 50K cash out is for the - Insurance & registration.
If the monthly is 30k, the effective interest rate for 5 years would be around 20% - which is very2 competitive!
Wag ka lang manghinayang sir if early next year lumabas na all new Everest Gen2.

June 5th, 2014 02:48 PM #1832Hi sir Inov8,
Thank you very much for the response. I think the coming new designed everest is very competitive however, it may cost me more to have it. as you said that the current offer for the everest is a good catch then i would choose this over the other. Sayang na rin kasi yung savings na makukuha with the low interest rate. rarely din kasi namin magagamit kasi i work outside the country and ako lang marunong magdrive and my sister pero everest is too big for her. 3 weeks na ang loan application ko through an agent na kaklase ko pero hanggang ngayon wala pa approval. minsan gusto ko na icancel hehe. but, thank you very much uli. God bless sir!

If it is acceptable to you for a brand new vehicle to just sit in your garage most of the time, then seal the deal, especially you've got a very good deal. Even though I'm thinking that Ford is throwing away good deals for the current Everest model to make way for the next gen, you'll still get a good vehicle, not to mention the sweet deal that comes with it. But if you want to get the most out of your money, then I wouldn't suggest you to buy a brand new vehicle. Buy when you're already back here in the Phils for good, or if you won't get hurt that much by depreciation, especially the vehicle will be under utilized.

June 5th, 2014 06:27 PM #1834Hi Sir Jedi!
Thank you very much for the insights. I appreciate it so much. What stops me from buying used cars is i don't really know how to get the best ones. Im afraid i might get one with problems though i know even brand new cars may show minor, if not major, defects after a little while of use but the probability maybe is rare. I also thought about the brand new car just parking in our garage and even may develop problems with little use but I prefer getting a new one hoping that it won't happen with it. Maybe my family will utilize it sometime in their long trips with a trusted driver while im away. Thank you for mentioning that everest is a good vehicle.
im really hoping it will last long with us despite its limited use. my target purchase is on the last day of the month if the loan will be approved. God bless!

Hello Mga Everest Expert!
Patulong naman po. Did you experience in your Eve na parang may naipon na tubig somewhere (very near front passenger side) Kapag nag-break ka, naririnig mo galaw ng tubig. Saan kaya iyon? Very irritating ung sound.
Appreciate your advice. Salamat po.

Guys planning to buy 2007 ford eve 2.5... Ano ba mga pinagkaiba ng current gen eve and 2007 eve? Parang same lang ata engine and tranny? And ano mga major issues nito? Sobrang sulit kasi mababa value...
