Hi Guys, newbie here at everest forum. just got a 2nd hand Everest 2008 Automatic, 65K ang odometer. kagabi I found in the casa service record that it was due for turbocharger replacement dahil may leak daw ang turbocharger assy..cost is Php 108K. Can somebody please help kung meron ba replacment nun? what is the symptoms kung leaky nga yung assy na yun? what will happen if hindi ko palitan -- ano effect sa takbo? thanks in advance.

^^ pacheck mo muna sa turbo experts like central diesel to confirm that the turbo is indeed has a problem. Maybe they can overhaul it to instead of buying a new one, kung may problem nga talaga.

first post in the forum and a new owner of everest (just got mine last Tuesday so mag 1 week na siya). noticed na medyo mabilis lang maging madumi un sa portion kung asan un tire (fender and un tinatapakan sa side - di ko alam yun tawag hehe) kase wala siyang parang rubber na sumasalo sa dumi (tire guard/mud guard ata ang tawag dun). sorry medyo newbie sa parts ng kotse. Also, may idea po ba kayo kung ano un brand ng ICE na nakakabit sa everest? thanks in advance and more power po :party:

Dalhin mo muna sa central diesel. Usually minsan my build up lang talaga ng oil sa turbo dahil walang OCC.

rac98 and SiRbossR, thanks for the feedback. please advice saan yung Central Diesel..I will have it checked...sana hindi naman pala sira or ma repair pa nila. BTW, taga general trias cavite ako, hopefully accesible sa kin yan Central Diesel. Salamat.

Its along quezon avenue in quezon city. Near capitol med.

i already replaced my whole turbo cartridge assembly 2 years ago... cost was just around 30k...
IHF ang gamit ng eve ng turbo....

Please make sure first that your turbo is indeed damaged from a certified professional shop. Casa sometimes do make mistakes. I have a friend who brought his frontier with a knocking sound in his transmission. A replacement costing him 30k+ was adviced. He was shocked and went to a local mechanic shop just for 2nd opinion. A grease worth 10 pesos was the fix. He went back to the casa and he was angry to tell the head mechanic the fix. --- lubrication. That was 16 years ago btw. I assume that problems like that can be repaired. good luck and merry christmas!
