August 24th, 2016 10:33 PM #4312...tnx bro, so a 285/50r20 for more grip/traction is also viable. On the recent moment with your Eve, another reason may be dirty proximity sensors. You may take the unit to the dealer as is (dirty, grimmy, etc...) on its current state & explore the scenarios where the mitigation sensors will be put into test, but putting safety in mind. Do give us your feedback sir...

i compared the speedometer before and after i changed tires with a gps speed reading. it was 5% LESS before (100kph on the meter was 95 kph on the gps) and almost spot on after. same with the odometer, 5% MORE before and almost exactly the same after. so it does not follow that a tire size that more accurately match the computer will cause it to malfunction.

August 24th, 2016 11:45 PM #4315Fafa, i really cant say if you and the computer are matched.
But i do however believe in the universal law of cause and effect. What can be the cause? You changed something outside what the car is designed for.
If for example, you retained your stock tires, then you must find someone who experienced the same so that we can rule out the tire upgrade cause .. If not, then that maybe the probable cause as all errors you posted are tire related.

Btw, my company issued me a top-of the line 2016 Ranger 3.2 Wildtrak (it's not mine but the company's) with all the bells and whistles. I guess this is similar if not the same as Your TOTL Everest Titanium kaya im also curious with your current computer error.

August 24th, 2016 11:58 PM #4317Ah ganito ba nangyari? I read kasi yun errors na ni-list mo that's why i though parang nag luko ang computer.
Dont wprry, it's normal, it happened to me also with the ranger, I was going down the ramp of our buidling when suddenly a man appeared running from the side, then an alarm went off
The ranger froze. Akala ko nasira, it was very quick, havent got the time to read yun mga errors mo. Bilis ng mata mo to record the error messages. Me i just waited, never turned off engine, nag-resume nanan

looking at it again OB it looks more and more like panic mode of the computer that i was about to hit the wall.
i was just thinking what if i make a hail mary pass and i get too close to the vehicle in front and the.computer applies the brakes like it did, e di tatama yung ino-overtake ko na vehicle sa likod ko di ba? i think i will set the anti collission to its lowest setting, even set it to warning only without applying the brakes. i want total control now because my driving style will at times be in conflict with this anti collission feature.

August 25th, 2016 12:18 AM #4320These new fords are in a different league though meron ata yun montero ewan ko lang.
The sensors are inviting paranoia. Syempre sa traffic may motor sa likod sa harap, minsan nag-alarm tapos mag-display sa 8 in screen. Ive learned to ignore muna, medyo OA kasi eh
Ive tested yun lane assist festure sa expressay, would you beleive nag-swerve muna sya left sn right before it lined up sa lane, Parang nag-calibrate muna buti na lang maluwag noon. Calibration real-time!
