we used to own two fords f150 and e150..ok naman service dito sa ford alabang..nung bago pa sila medyo bad trip nga sa ford makati..pero compared with my experience sa toyota, nissan, universal and mitsubishi casas..mas gusto ko sa ford.. kasi straight sila maki pagdeal walang mga mekanikong maraming "nakatabing parts" at kung sinabi nilang ganitong araw matatapos tumutupad naman... as far as reliability medyo yun nga as i said before maraming quirks.. aircon, transmission..etc.at hindi nga nila ma detect ang other problems..pero since majority naman eh warranty ok lang ehehe..

i heard nga pala na ford greenhills (the one in edsa) has good service...we used to go to balintawak...pero parang ayaw ng dad ko dun...

ford balintawak and qave are both mazda service centers and there hasn't been an untoward experience reported by any of our club members who had their vehicles serviced there.

December 19th, 2003 12:25 PM #18I had bad experience with Ford ranger 4wd. Hard clutch and rough gear engament. As others would say, the transmission system is very agricultural-clunky and cranky. I guess prospective buyers of Rranger and for that matter, Ford Everest, should BE AWARE and BEWARE of this.
