Ford awards Philippines's Top Dealers of 2011


Ford Group Philippines (FGP) recently hosted its annual Ford Dealer Convention to recognize the achievements of its dealers and partners in 2011, which helped them post an all-time record sales year. Recording sales of 9,778 units and a 48% growth, Ford became the country's fastest growing car brand last year. And after all the numbers were in, Ford Alabang took top honors as Ford's “2011 Dealer of the Year.”

"Ford had a record year in the Philippines and the unwavering commitment and dedication of our nationwide Ford dealer network played the key role in our shared success,” said Ford Groud Philippines President Randy Krieger.

Ford Alabang received the prestiguous award for its overall excellence in wholesale and retail sales, and customer service. The dealership from the South also accepted awards for being Metro Manila’s top-selling dealer of the Ford Fiesta and Everest. While Paolo Borromeo, Ford Alabang's General Manager, was recognized as Ford's “General Manager of the Year.”

Other top performers for 2011 who were recognized with awards were the Cheng Group for “Top Ford Dealer Sales Support Team”, Ford Global City, Ford EDSA, and Ford Commonwealth for “Top Retail Sales” among Metro Manila dealers, and Ford Pampanga, Ford Cagayan de Oro, Ford Negros, and Ford Subic for “Top Retail Sales” among provincial dealers.

On top of that, Ford Libis was also Ford’s overall champion at the “2011 Annual Sales and Service Skills Olympics” held last November. Plus, they were acknowledged as “Parts Team of the Year” and “Top Technical Support Operations Team.”
