April 6th, 2011 09:09 AM #13Ako naman wala balak ibenta ng within 5years. After 8years siguro..

How low? And what variant?
Fiesta's resale should be a bit better... it's subcompact, so the impression people will get is that it's more fuel efficient... but the 1.6 automatic (yeah, it's a dual clutch manumatic... but the perception will be the same) may not be competitive in terms of resale value with smaller engined rivals.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

April 6th, 2011 12:43 PM #15ganyan talaga. sad fact of life. 15-20% depreciation for cars.
then wala pa jan yung interest na binabayad mo sa bank if you financed your car. then PMS, repairs, etc.
a car is really a bad investment however which way you look at it (apart from collectible cars probably). it just depreciates every day. meron pa wear and tear, then maintenance costs.
the fiesta is a practical car... this is pretty much why i got it. there are more practical cars there... pero ang papangit! haha.

Let's take a look at the market:
http://www.sulit.com.ph/index.php/view+classifieds/id/2921070/HONDA+CITY+2006+idsi?referralKeywords=honda+city+2 006
http://paranaque.olx.com.ph/2006-for...-iid-182132003
These are both 5 year olds.
Maybe we should backup our claims regarding resale value with some figures.

April 7th, 2011 09:00 AM #18Im not an expert, pero d ba yung lumang focus malakas sa gas.
