    Im planning to buy eve 4x2 at next week.May approval na ako sa metrobank(15.54 for 3yrs).sana hindi pahirapan sa desert bronze color.Ingat lang po sa sobrang freebies, mostly madami talaga freebies pag in-house financing ka.Like dun sa 1 SA na kausap ko,nakakatuwa sobra dami ng freebies binigay but when i computed the inhouse rates vs bank,almost 180k difference(3yrs).So yung freebies was not actually free.HEHEHE!

    Yung nakakuha po dito ng mabababang rates and tons of freebies yun ang jackpot,pa share po info para dun nalang ako kukuha ng unit.Thanks

    Ford Manila gave us the following freebies when we bought our '09 Everest 4x2 XLT a couple of months ago:

    - Free 3M tint (full tint including 1-pc windshield). Black Chrome kinuha namin (specifically BC35, we decided on a lighter shade for better nighttime visibility). Tip: insist on either the BC or CS (Color Stable) series of tint, wag yung FX. Low-end kasi yung FX series.
    - Free 3yr LTO & TPL;
    - Free chattel mortgage;
    - Free 1yr comprehensive insurance (Acts of God clause included);
    - Free rain visor (4 pcs. total);
    - Free reverse sensor (with distance display);
    - Free full tank of diesel (Shell);
    - Free matting (above average quality, fabric with rubber non-slip backing. Ford OEM talaga complete with logo, di yung generic lang);
    - Free EWD;
    - Free seatcover (okay naman quality, albeit a bit thin yung fabric);
    - Free 1yr emergency roadside assistance.

    I'll PM you the name of my SA just in case. Good luck!
    Sir baka pwede pa PM naman ng SA mo sa Ford Manila, nag inquire kse ako sa Ford sa SM Fairview (Ford Commonwealth main ofc) nila, baka mas maganda offer nila dun. Yun SA ko kse binigyan kami ng 18 mo. 0% at 50% downpayment, konti lang freebies matting, seat cover at tint, un full tint pa sa harap additioanl 2k pa, medyo mataas din ang chattel mortgage, at insurance with AOG. 3 yrs LTO, TPL, not free. What do you think sa deal nila, dahil kaya ganito kse medyo long term un 18 mo. compare sa iba na 12 mo. lang sa 0% int. Kuha sana kami ng unit 3rd week ng December, Everest 4x2 M/T. TIA.

    hi. question lng. kamusta naman ung height ng seat sa harap at likod? mga ilang inches kaya ung distance ng seat sa floor? kc i remember ur first gen everest, ang baba ng seat from the floor kaya ung tuhod parang halos kapantay na ng dibdib? hehe gets nio ba? ung nakaka ngawit na seating position. any fedback sa current everest? tnx better if you can post pix ;)

    and one more question, sa exterior ba, is there a noticeable difference between the 4x2mt variant and the 4x4at variant? tnx in advance

    *dcph172 - as i observed ang kakaiba lang sa exterior ng Limited 4x2 at 4x4 a/t dun sa XLT 4x2 m/t at 4x2 a/t ay un pug light sa sidemirror left and right, once you open the driver and front passenger door, may ilaw. Isa pa yun emblem yata sa likod na door at un color na desert bronze at titatium gray is for limited only.

    I'm buying a Ford Everest 4x2 MT soon. Sorry if this post is quite lengthy. Ask sana ako ng opinion nyo about the financing options presented by 2 dealers and yung bank ko (BDO).

    FORD EDSA
    D/P = 298k (all-in: LTO, chattel mortgage, insurance with AOG)
    Freebies: Tint, seat covers, floor mats, back-up sensor
    Amount to be financed = 1,016,250.00
    Terms = 48 months
    Monthly = 28,350.00
    Interest rate = 33.90%

    - agent said that the tint they provide is not 3M but "platinum". Yun daw ang standard nila sa lahat ng Ford Everest units.

    FORD COMMONWEALTH
    D/P = 298k (all-in: LTO, chattel mortgage, insurance with AOG)
    Freebies: 3M Tint, seat covers, floor mats, back-up sensor
    Amount to be financed = 1,016,250.00
    Terms = 48 months
    Monthly = 28,583.00
    Interest rate = 35.00%

    BDO (c/o Branch Manager)
    D/P = 20%
    Amount to be financed = 1,052,000.00
    Terms = 48
    Monthly = 27,458.00
    Interest rate = 25.28%

    If sa BDO ko ipapasok yung loan na offer ng 2 dealers:
    Amount to be financed = 1,016,250.00
    Terms = 48 months
    Monthly = 26,524.13
    Interest rate = 25.28

    Both dealers have forwarded my application to 4 banks and fortunately approved naman. Pero nung kinausap ko yung manager ng BDO (eto na bank ko since 1997), binigyan nya ako ng mababang rate kaya pina-hold ko muna yung processing ng loan through dealers.

    Kaya lang sabi ng parehong agents, hindi ko daw makukuha ang 298k all-in pag sariling bank ko ang gagamitin. Ayaw naman nila mag-provide ng breakdown ng chattel mortgage fee (CMF), LTO, and insurance with AOG.

    Ganun ba talaga yun? Paano ang magandang gawin na win-win situation?

    Any advice will really be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    mas masarap pa din umutang sa bangko na kilala mo kasi building relationships ka doon. if sa future kelanganin mo ng business loan or house loan eh di may record ka na.

    remember opportunities are what we should build on, not the money saved or freebies earned na makukuha ng panandalian lamang

    Looking at the figures you posted, the difference between going with BDO and Ford Edsa is around 42,000, around 54,000 naman sa Ford Commonwealth.

    Usually, di talaga applicable ang mga all-in promos pag di ka nag-avail ng in-house financing. Mas magandang makuha mo muna yung additional costs (LTO, chattel, insurance, etc.) para ma-compute mo kung sulit dumiretso sa BDO. Baka naman mas mapapamahal ka pa pag nag-BDO ka tapos 60,000 or more naman yung babayaran mo para sa LTO, etc. And do confirm the freebies, yung ibang dealers mas konti ang freebies pag di in-house financing.

    As for the tint brand, Ford Manila used 3M for my Eve. Full tint pa sa windshield (one-piece). Free full tank of diesel din.

    I PM'd you the name and contact info of my SA in Ford Manila, baka sakaling mas maganda offer niya vs Ford Edsa/Commonwealth.

    Good luck!
