    Sir, I beg to differ.

    If O/D is ON, tama ka na it helps save fuel 'coz the vehicle will shift to the highest gear (overdrive gear) when you reach a certain speed (70+km/h). This is quite evident pag nasa highway ka. Sa case ng Everest, mabilis ang pag-shift papuntang 5th gear kaya tipid talaga sa diesel when you're cruising along.

    However, the drawback is mas mahina ang arangkada between gears lalo na pag paahon 'coz the tranny will always look to shift into the highest gear. That means the engine will give you less power since the engine rpm won't go up as much.

    When O/D is OFF, the tranny won't shift into the highest gear, so 1-2-3-4 lang siya. Acceleration between gears is faster 'coz the engine will reach higher rpms at a given speed (compared to O/D ON). Mararamdaman mo yung difference lalo na when climbing steep inclines 'coz the vehicle won't "gear hunt" as much. Mas malakas nga lang ang konsumo.

    ayus salamat mga bosing...naninibago padin ako sa everest namin walang audio control sa manibela e hehehe...yung montero meron pero mas macho si everest..

    try to look for Ted Paeste of Ford Greenhills malaki magbigay yun ng discount and freebies, n if you want low rate suggest ko metrobank, then next bpi, pati insurance.
