SA told me the waiting time for 4x4 is 3 months. But if you do in house financing, it will be less than 1 month. Loan must be at least 50% of the unit price, 3 yrs min. Priority to in house, you will be at the end of queue if your a cash buyer.

Di ko na tinanong magkano interest rate nila.

I was asking if I can go for 20% loan and 1 year to pay, smile lang SA hehe. Kulang na lang direct sabihin forget about cash and short term loan.

They are capitalizing on the demand.

Yes bawal na as per DTI. It seems to be a practice from all dealer regardless kung Toyota/Nissan/Mitsu/Ford especially kung high demand yung model, and kung ayaw mo pumila ng matagal.

I got the Subaru Outback end of last year na hindi naman na kailangan loan.

Yup. Its a personal choice sir, I like the space, comfort and safety that it offers.

My eldest drives it more than the CX5 and CRV.

just talked to a friend who put in a reservation for the 2023 Everest Titanium 4x2 during the FIC in Laguna and he said that he is no. 30 on the list.

based on feedback from a dealer, only 60 units of the 2023 Everest arrived last month for the Philippines. Only 1 4x4 and 2 4x2 Titanium units were allocated per dealer.

at this rate, those far down the line for these units will probably get theirs by 2023 yet.

but if i have to guess,
these folks have more than one vehicle and can therefore afford to wait.
    heh heh.

    i am wondering,
will the dealer's price be significantly affected by the ever-changing dollar exchange rate?
does the down payment now, somehow guarantee the purchase price?
