rides on new 17-inch alloy wheels. It also ditches the stock rear bumper and front grille in favor of glossy black ones. Finally, this Ranger variant gets step boards for easier ingress and egress.

The Ford Ranger XLS Sport can be had in five colors: Arctic White, Absolute Black, Aluminum Metallic, Meteor Grey, and True Red. It’s also available in both 4x2 and 4x4 form.

Ford Ranger XLS Sport 4x2 MT – P1,062,000
Ford Ranger XLS Sport 4x4 MT – P1,211,000

The Ford Ranger XLS Sport will be available at showrooms starting June 21, 2019

After 4 months and a 3k price increase after, we finally brought home our 2019 Ford Ranger XLS

We opted to go with this car mainly for 4 reasons:

    1. Hindi na magbabago ang traffic situation sa Pinas, so might as well drive an automatic car.
    2. Hindi na bababa ang presyo ng gas/diesel, so go with the lower costing fuel.
    3. Hindi na masosolve ang flooding problems sa Metro Manila, so better get the car/pickup with the highest rated wading depth.
    4. Makunat/matibay na kaha.

In our first 2 weeks of ownership, I must say that it really is very easy to drive. There's power when you need it, a real treat when parking (steering is so smooth and soft). My only challenge (so far) is/are the blind spots, especially in turning in on corners (I find the mirrors big. hehe) and when changing lanes. I have to tilt the mirrors down a bit, kasi baka makasagi ng mga naka single na MC.

On a different note, meron po bang familiar sa mga engine code names ng mga 2019 Rangers? I'm trying to figure out po kasi kung either "Puma" or "Panther" or kung ano man po ang sa 2019 XLS variant.

Thank you po in advance sa makakapag bigay linaw, and more power to everyone! God Bless!

Cross-Post: Pa-confirm ko lang po mga ka-Ranger kung ang 2018 WildTrak 2.2 4x4 A/T ko ay merong Traction Control?

At least a month kasi umaakyat kami bundok na maputik minsan.

Boss planning to buy din XLS AT. Eto kasi swak sa budget and reasons same as you. Question lang po kung kamusta handling? Kayang kaya ba i drive ni kumander? Kasi minsan gagamitin din nya. 1st time to own pick up truck if ever, kamusta po suspension? Salamat po.
