CarguidePH posted a comparison of specs between a few of the local CUV's against the new Escape.

Looks are always subjective per person.

I think the CR-V looks hideous, but it's still the 3rd best selling CUV so apparently others like it.

Kamusta ownership experience ng FXT? Is it really good ba?

Kasi currently my GF and I are torn between FXT and this upcoming Escape Titanium. The big question is.. Is the escape better than the FXT?

For me in terms of space FXT wins, it's A LOT spacious than my iX35 and almost same sa CRV gen 3.

Buti nalang hindi power shift ginamit dito sa new escape. Naka 6speed conventional AT daw as per topgear mag... 2.0 ecoboost is a monster on escape.

Yes, both the 1.6 EcoBoost and 2.0 EcoBoost models sold here use a conventional torque converter automatic transmission.
I believe the Getrag-Ford dry-clutch Powershift DCT was not designed to handle high-torque engines.

PS: There's a rumor (reported in some Australian magazines/blogs) that the facelifted Thai-built Focus (they source their standard Focus moidels from Thailand too) could get a 1.5 EcoBoost in place of the current naturally aspirated 2.0, if this happens, it will most likely switch to a 6F35 torque converter automatic transmission.
