how was your experience with Autocity Makati? I'm also looking for a go to shop for out of warranty repairs of my Explorer. Are they able to source parts?

hi!, im thinking of buying explorer 2014-15, im choosing between 2.0L or 3.5L V6, but im concern with the gas consumption and maintenance, what will be the practical choice in your opinion, appreciate your feedback on this, thank you.

You should consider another vehicle (maybe diesel) if you're concerned with fuel consumption and maintenance costs ... Also, it's not something one considers when thinking of a practical vehicle ...

A big gas-powered SUV is not for those who are concerned with gas consumption. You are looking at around 5 km/L in either powerplant for the Explorer.

A Santa Fe or Sorento CRDi would be a consideration if you are concerned with fuel expense.

when you think of buying a gas engine like an Explorer, fuel consumption should be the least of your concern. either of the two variants you mentioned are not efficient in terms of fuel eco. but ride comfort is top of its class, big and roomy interior, nice infotainment, good safety features.

Both are impractical. Get a Fortuner/Everest/Montero if fuel bills scare you.

The Explorer will consume more than twice as much fuel per month than any of the diesel PPVs.

Gusto ko sana bumili ng second hand Explorer na 2012 totoo ba issue sa ang transmission ng mga Ford ? Sobrang bilis kase bumaba ng Value kaya nanghihinayang ako bumili noon ngayon may nakikita ako 800k to 900k na lang.
