The first 4x4 to be made available here is the 2.2 4x4 XL M/T (PhP 1,179,000).
It's on their site (photo shows the XLT though the lower trim XL has 16 inch alloys vs the 17 inch wheels of the XLT.)

The photo they used to represent the 4x4 XL is not accurate, both are actually XLT models. I think the other Ranger in the photo has optional accessories. (In other words don't always trust the photos used in car sites, specially the local ones)
According to Ford Philippines' AVP for corporate communications, Anika Salceda-Wycoco's post on Ford Philippines' FB page, the 4x4 XL will have 16 inch alloy wheels.
The XLT (in the photos you posted) use 17 inch wheels.
I searched online and these are the 16 inch alloy wheels for the 2012 Ranger that I found.
PS: She also said the local spec 4x4 XL won't have exterior tie-down hooks. (other low trim Rangers sold in other countries have them)Last edited by AG4; June 18th, 2012 at 11:32 PM.

Not sure about the bumper trim, but the "Tubular Sport Bar" is listed as one of the accessories.

Apparently not. According to Ford Philippines' reply to a question posted on their FB page regarding the Ranger's specs...
Both the XL and XLT will be equipped with our 2.2L engines -- Ford Duratorq TDCi 2.2L VG Turbo for the XLT and Duratorq TDCi 2.2L Turbo for the XL.
One with 120 PS and 285 Nm of torque and a stronger one with 150 PS and 375 Nm of torque.
The 4x2 XLT uses the 150 PS version, so I'm guessing the 4x4 XL uses the 120 PS version. Guess we have to stay tuned for updates.Last edited by AG4; June 19th, 2012 at 08:35 PM.
