If we are to be conservative in the FC calculations at 90%, 30.6km/ltr is indeed great.

Available na (according to the advertisements) ang Ford Econetic dito sa Australia. I'd love to see a sedan version.

Imagine "START-STOP" technology in Metro Manila traffic. It would be on and off every few seconds. You would need a battery the size of a Prius to keep up with the ignition cycles lol.
I saw a test of the Mini with this technology in "Fifth Gear" TV show. The reviewer couldn't wait to turn it off...it was driving him nuts. Imagine "nudging" up to the car in front in stop and go traffic...engine off, engine on, engine off, engine on......etc, etc...crazy. It sounds great in the design studio..but in real life...is useless.

good morning focus owners,

balak ko bumili ng ford focus hatch 1.8L this year. me mga ilan katanungan lang po ako.

1. PMS interval? every 5k ba or every 3 months, me narinig kasi ko na every 3 months parang mazda 3.
kasi yun civic every 6 months.

2. PMS cost po?
3. Regular oil po ba ito o kelangan synthetic?
eto lang po kasi i did my research na din sa ride comfort at FC.

1.) Pwede 5Kms kahit lagpas 3 months. Gawin mo barkadahin mo ang SA tapos pakiusapan mo na lang.
2.) PMS cost depends on the oil you prefer to use. Just prepare 2-7k per PMS na lang.
3.) Depende sa'yo

5k kms ko kasi inaabot ng 6months kaya hihinayang ako kung pupunta ko ng every 3 months parang lugi naman sa PMS. Mazda 3 gusto ko din pero ganun din yata PMS nya, 3 months.

Mazda 3 at focus lang choice ko e. kung lalabas na new swift na mas malaki pede din.
