Meron din pala Tucson? Didn't know that... But then its also way more expensive than a Focus, is that P1.7M or something like that... Many of these Focus features are not first times, but what makes it special is the features exist in a price of a FOCUS which is a C-car...

Well I hope in FoMoCo's case dalin nila yung SPAS sa Focus sa ASEAN models pati na din yung Active Grill Shutters... There is a fear inside of me that they might not pero meron ding optimism since sa first ONE FORD car (the Fiesta) di naman nila tayo pinabayaan compared to other markets...
Yung START-STOP naman sana gawing optional kasi MAHAL yung battery nyan (iba from standard kasi al electronics ON even if engine is OFF) and yung starter heavy duty (since madalas ang ON-OFF sequence)... So sigurado maintenance costs would rise...

Ford Focus ECONETIC. 80 MPG!!! That is 34km/L!!!!
Ford is claiming class-leading fuel efficiency for the next-gen Focus Econetic, which will make its debut at next week’s Amsterdam motor show.
The firm says the new model - which uses Ford’s 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine in a new state of tune, with 104bhp - will return 80mpg and emit “less than 95g/km” of CO2 when it arrives in dealerships in spring 2012. That’s more than 10mpg more and 15g/km less than the current Focus 1.6 TDCi.

mali ka dun broTidus, start stop button para ding de susi din yan, me accessories.
Yellow light-accessories
green light-all ON.
1 year na yung ride ko sa akin, so far so good, what maintenance cost will rise doon?
convenient yang start stop button, kaya kapag ginawang standard yan sa FORD, mas magaling.
I think yan na ang present-future sa Ignition switch, magiging old school na ang me ignition key.(just my 2).

Sorry desert_fox ikaw ang mali. Know the difference!
START-STOP technology means when you stop the car (aka traffic or stoplight) he ENGINE gets turned off thus saving you fuel because it avoids idling which wastes fuel. Now even with the engine OFF the electronics and the aircon remains on so it needs a very strong battery. Since the ON-OFF cycle of the engine is so frequent (imagine kada stoplight patay ang makina) it needs a sturdy ignition system. Here is START-STOP technology in Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Start-stop
What you are saying is PUSH-START. That's a keyless way to turn ON the car and is not related to START-STOP technology... Push start is just a button and nothing else...
Di porke START-STOP ang nakalagay sa button yun na yun...
