mga bossing first post ko ho ito dito sa tsikot.com, and i'm going to purchase a 2nd hand car this dec.
ford lynx is on my list of prospected 2nd hand cars, and an offer caught my eye.
a 2005 ford lynx gsi A/T for only P180,147.
tinignan ko yung unit, it looks like a good deal except for a big dent on the right passenger door.
hindi naman sya binaha and its a repossessed auto, so sa banko ko ito bibilin.

sulit parin ba ito kahit kailangan kong magpagawa or worst magpalit ng pinto?

Yep IMO sulit basta hindi binaha even with the door dent...

kung hindi binaha, kahit napakalaki pa ng door dent (let me imagine the worst yung tipong nabangga ng kotse), IMO sulit pa rin.

hindi ba pwedeng test drive muna? parang masyadong mura iyan ah.

Parang nakakapagtaka yung price. Yung value ng 2005 Ford Lynx GSI M/T namen sa Ford casa is 250k pa for trade in. Pero binenta ng dad ko sa pinsan ko 200k tuwang tuwa na siya. FLOODED pa yun at alam ng casa pero doon pinapagawa lagi sakanila. Ipacheck mong mabuti yan bro.

pupuntahan ko ulet yung unit bukas para ma check ng mekaniko, kung hindi nga binaha. pag hindi nga binaha,iseseal ko kagad ang deal..hehe

napakamura naman nyan..baka naman ang makina SINGER hehehe joke lang..
pero napakamura talaga...ganun naba talaga kababa ang resale value ng Ford vehicles?

update sa napaka murang lynx na kahinahinala.
when i first visited the warehouse, sabi ng tao dun ok daw yung unit,at higit sa lahat, hindi binaha.

tama sya hindi nga binaha ang napakamurang lynx na yun, dahil nandun na sya bago pa mag ondoy. at hindi talaga binaha ang lugar na yun. katabing katabi lang kasi ng opisina ko yun kaya alam ko.

but here's the catch. we visited the unit earlier today, and was able to speak with a real mechanic. the unit has "lost compression" daw, and was towed to the warehouse. (how sad)

at dun na nasira ang deal. the car in not in running condition.

how much would an overhaul or repair cost for a ford lynx that has that case?

help naman mga ford gurus. i still like the car.. kasi bata pa..

Aha! I knew from the start that there was something wrong. Sa price pa lang. Hehe. Let's wait for the ford gurus, hindi ko rin kasi alam kung magkano. :bwahaha:

Bili namin sa '05 Ford Focus Ghia 1.8 Duratec (28k km mileage) 380k daw. Hope it helps.
