While our esteemed tongressman is at it, why not tax the following:
    1. Hammers and ball caps to prevent the martilyo gang from using it.
    2. Legalize drugs and prostitution so you can collect taxes on it.
    3. Condoms just bec the church thinks its use is a sin.
    4. Squatters - charge them a squatting tax, why should land owners pay tax while squatters can live on someone else land tax free.
    5. Bodyguard tax like Altis said.
    6. Stupidity tax, the BIR will collect a lot from the Senate and Congress.
    7. Kurakot and kotong tax - nuff said.

Dito pa lang, baka sa Congress at PNP collections ma-tawid na ng BIR ang budget deficit ng PH!

Labo nito, pag nakapasa to it will open the flood gates to other absurd tax laws. Pano ma iqualify ang isang bagay as softdrink na pwedeng i-tax? Sugar content and carbonated? Bottled? Pano yung mga aspartame instead of sugar? Iced tea and juices na high on sugar? Carbonated fruit juice? Tetra packs?

Gagawin lang ng mga manufacturer eh iiwas sa technicality ng product. Tulad ng balak ng mga Marlboro at ibang cigarette manufacturer. Maglalabas ng mas mababang presyo ng cigarette para makaiwas sa sin tax.

In the end, lahat ng beverage eh itax na nila.

Eh dapat mabusisis kung ano dapat itax...

If pure real sugar ingredients eh NO TAX DAPAT = Magbenefit pa sugarcane farmers...

Pero if artificial sweetener eh TAX HEAVILY....

Sa ganyan proposal may choice beverage manufacturer kung ano gusto nila sundin....

    Ganda di ba.......
