I remember years ago, when I was new in traveling, and pasalubongs were expected from me, I chanced upon a stand of ferrero chocolates that were on sale, like less than half their original prices in HK, during our flight's layover.

I noticed that they're about to expire within the next couple of months. I bought about 6 boxes and brought them home.

    Tuwang-tuwa ang mga nabigyan ko...

Pag "best before" ok pa kahit lumagpas ng ilan days. pero pag "consume before" yun ata dapat hindi na kainin after the due date tama ba?

except for fresh milk and dairy products, na pag sinabing expiration date di mo na pwede i consume, pero for other items like chocolate you still have 2 months para kainin huwag lang yung may mga nuts such as almonds and walnuts

Today I organized our food stock and had to throw away so many expired items like canned goods, pasta, chocolates and 1 box of gatorade (hurts the most). I felt so immoral to throw away food. If only I could still eat/drink it but then I might end up sick naman. Minsan kasi pag napupunta sa likod ng shelf nalilimutan.

definitely not when it's canned goods since it's associated with botulism.

no for dairy products, meat and pasta too
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
