3 balanced meals with 2 healthy snack in between for me. it helps in keeping me active all day and maintains my good digestion. i never over eat otherwise i'll have digestion problems.

Whoever invented 3 meals a day is crazy. You fast for 6 hours in between meals.
5-6 meals is optimal:
1. prevent insulin spiking your body thus less fat storage
2. nutrients absorbed at a steady rate
3. metabolism continuously running

if you opted for the 5-6 small meals, ano ba yun small meals na yan? ano dapat kainin dyan?

8 high quality, small quantity, well timed meals yielded the best fat loss, muscle retention/gain for me... Mahal lang imaintain coz you have to know what's good food and what's crap.

Sabi ko nga ito yung reason ng pag-start mo ng thread... I'm diabetic, too.
But I'm sort of lucky that my condition doesn't require much maintenance. When I first learned I was diabetic, grabe yung gutom ko between meals (even at 6 meals a day), and grabe yung effect ng bagsak ng sugar levels ko.
Nowadays, I lead a more active lifestyle... my eating habits, unfortunately, aren't perfect, due to my sched, but at least I keep my sugar in check without drugs. ;)
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

right now, I'm at 6-7 meals a day. hindi ko na pinapaabot ang gutom sa 'kin.

For me kung may magpe-prepare lang. 3 complete meals will do (rice or pasta for carbohydrates, vegetables/fruits, fish, poultry, beef and lamb meat) with no sweet desserts. In between meals…. tubig-tubig lang.

5 or more meals a day.. small servings lang papi.. at least pag nagutom ka ok lang kumain ulet kasi mabilis naman na-digest ung kinain mo kanina.. wag lang tipong every minute ang kain ha kasi ibang usapan na yun..

Good day Sir Niky! What sort of activities do you do to keep your blood sugar down? Do you go to the gym or you are active in sports? Ako naman, I have never experienced gutom ng tulad sayo pero there was this time na sa takot ko nga na tumaas sugar ko, hindi ako kumain ng lunch! Breakfast lang kinain ko eh mag baballroom dancing ako for my exercise, ayun after dancing for 10 munites straight, nahilo ako! Di ko pa inamin sa DI ko pero nahalata nya na namumutla na ako saka ko sinabi na hindi pa ako kumakain! (heheheheh) Kasalanan ko rin minsan kaya careful na si ako!
sinabi moh! i hardly see my children now. when they were young, schedules were more predictable.
Traffic!
