Seriously, I was holding and using a Nokia 3310 then. I was amused to see people staring at me as if I had a leprosy .
But who cares, I don't need a sossy phone. I neither text nor take pictures.

I don't think that "SB's romance" with Filipino Coffee addicts will fade.Last edited by bunge; February 28th, 2007 at 06:38 PM.

And it's for the better. Personally if I was there, I'd seek out the homegrown coffee shops. The Philippines has pretty darn good coffee of its own. Aren't there individual mom and pop coffee shops in Manila that can hold its own against the likes of SB?
Here, it's the mom and pop, family-owned establishments that have the big reputations like the Javalinas in our neighborhood. Very friendly and jolly staff. They give the impression of excellent personalized service. If SB wants to recapture that spirit and multiply 10,000X, good luck to them. They'll go broke doing it.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; February 28th, 2007 at 07:04 PM.

unfortunately starbucks acquired most if not all seattle's best branches years ago, in case you're unaware
Another reason for SB's price is due to its capability to take on aspects of whatever the environment might be wherever it trades. The espresso tastes similar in every country but the food will have a local flavour. In other words, the brand adapts and appeals to any culture without losing it's core identity.
I may be able to relate the topic about some people thinking it's faux pas to speak in his native tongue, but yamato on this thread? Super OT I declarewe're off to outer space... pro-tecting mother earth... (sorry can't help it)
if there's a need to ban someone, then ban this mopface.
he sickens me
well like most things, Starbucks is not all good or all bad but capable of both. posters on this forum are in no way different (hey I meant it in a nice way)
carry on, folks

i just saw this sosi phone that looks like a tube of lipstick (think it's a nokia). ang masaklap, it was a guy who was using it!!! :gayfight:
no, we weren't at a Starbucks, but if you have that phone and don't put it on the table while drinking your java, then you can just tear up your sosi card and join Jologs Anonymous
