In true Pinoy fashion, someone says something not really related to the topic. But, if it's interesting, everyone put their game faces on and go at it. I know I'm guilty of it sometimes. Oh well. I had a lot of fun, though.
Back to Starbucks. They're whining of automation because it's too efficient. If they go back to making drinks manually, then they'll probably whine because it's not efficient.
I say, face it. SB's a fad. Sooner or later the magic will wear off and it'll be considered a general patronage eatery like McDonalds, Jollibee, or Kentucky's. Personally, I find nothing wrong with that. SB will just have to scale back accordingly.
Gee, I hope that puts this thread back on track..... It didn't take me long to whip something up from where the sun don't shine........

Ban? Gee, everyone seemed pretty tame to me. My wife and mother in law's bickerings are a lot worse than anyone's postings here. I'm spending more time here because I don't want to get drawn to whatever they're arguing about.....

Related din naman ang Starbucks sa "You're cool"(sosi) ayon kay Asus700
Kaya hindi OT yung mga sosi posts
"Even in a country like Canada, Starbucks costs more than other coffee shops like Tim Horton and Coffee Time. Their pricing speaks of the market they are serving. Sa Canada, medyo "sosi" din ang dating mo pag nasa starbucks ka. You're "cool" as they would say. Kala nyo sa pinas lang meron nun, hehehe.
Starbucks is all about being cool and sosi, that's the whole idea. And if people go there to feel cool or sosi, then Starbucks is achieving their brand purpose.
Even their CEO admits that through the years after a series of expansion, they are losing that coolness, the brand has watered down, it has become commoditized. At least that is the experience they have in the states. They want to go back to the Starbucks heritage. And that heritage is all about coolness, sosiness here in pinas... the starbucks experience... that the guard had a taste of." -Asus700
