Makes me wonder then how SB could be a "sosy" spot if we're dressed like Mr. Juan Bluecollar. I guess it's just the thought of buying the drinks themselves. If it's the gadgets that make people look "sosy", then that could be anywhere, not just SB, even a jeepney.

Add: Makes me wonder what people thought of my daughter and her Nintendo DX. She brought it with her when Mommy and her visited RP a little over a year ago. Knowing my kid, she would've had it with her everywhere she went.

"Sosy" factor aside, I think SB should join up with Krispy Creme. That would get me to spend more time in there.

OT: The gadgets doesn't make the sosy, it complements them.

In fact, gadget can make or break the sosyness. Let's take cellphone "sosy points" for example. (General guideline)

    +10 points: newly released model
+10 points: top of the line model (this is on top of the "newly released bonus")
+1 point for every ten thousand pesos that the phone costs above ten thousand
    +10 for "PDA" phones

However, only certain brands, such as (but not limited to) Nokia and SonyEricsson qualify for the above points. Certainly no Taiwanese brands. Any cellphone that was bought for less than 10k can't qualify either.

    There are also points penalties:

-5: if the phone was bought for half its MSRP when it first came to market
    -5: Non-3G.
    -10: No camera.
-10 x G: For phased-out phones, times the number of generations G since the company stopped its production.
    -10: Entry level phones.

See? It's not quite that simple.

    Other gadgets:
+10: the latest iPod (+5 bonus if it's a Nano)
-5: Any other MP3 player (including old iPod models)
    -20: fake/Imitation iPods

EDIT/P.S.: The songs loaded into the iPod also counts towards sosy points bonuses/penalties. However, "sosy" songs loaded into a "non-sosy" MP3 player doesn't count - that's just being so pretentious diba like you know (how... ironic?!). I'm not necessarily the one who can give the points on these... if I had one, it'll be full of my mom and dad's music!
