(Mods, sorry about the title, paki palitan na lang yung GMa to Philstar. Thanks ^_^)

Anyone remember the good ol' days when Chinese food companies only added industrial chemicals to their milk? Now they're adding drugs:

Philstar: FDA warns public vs slimming juice

Doesn't this fall into the category of drug pushing?

I really make a conscious effort not to purchase food/drinks made in China especially after the pet food recall that caused death of several dogs.

The only problem is when the raw materials are sourced from China. I don't mind paying a premium for products that are made else where.

Ampethamine and Sibutramine are found in expensive Rx only appetite suppressant (anorectic) drugs. Those juice must be really expensive!
