I'm addicted to French fries. Usually from McDonald's, Burger King, Outback Steakhouse (with the meat dishes), or smaller restaurants. I usually also make my own fries at home, usually retaining the potato skin.

in the service, we stopped calling the fries "French fries" right after the first wave of the war in Iraq. the French military chickened out of the efforts against the war on terrorism and only to come back after the attack was over to ask for reconstruction contracts. puck the prench. they are the unfriendliest people on earth. when you are in france and you need assistance, don't bother asking a Frenchman/woman. ask other nationals and they are more than willing to help you but not the prench. we call the fries freedom fries
