Says on the Century website, that their corned tuna was meant to have that "corned beefy taste", but I don't get the point in making tuna like corned beef. I have tasted corned tuna from both San Marino and Century, and both didn't even have any hint of corned beef in them. I did notice both were really really oily, as in stubborn oily.
Nothing can mask that fishy taste of tuna. Fresh tuna taste really has that fishy taste, while canned tuna has that fishiness toned down a lot.
If it were a choice of canned tuna, I'd just go for century's flakes in water. Yes, it doesn't taste good (compared to the other flavored variants), but at least, you get a lot more flakes to eat.

afaik, "corning" is a process of curing meat in salt. so what's the difference between corned tuna and tuna in brine?
