Haven't had a Super Dry in a loooooong time. Makabili nga mamaya.

Blue Ice din long time no see. Last one I tried was in HK pa; the big King Can version which we bought at a Wellcome one random night after walking around. I do recall preferring Labatt Ice when it came out in Manila back in the day (brought in by Asia Brewery, I presume).

Masarap nga yung Blue Ice tapos nawala. Tried it again when we went to Hong Kong a few years ago. Better for me yung Blue Ice over Labatt.

Back in 2012-2014, Manila Beer was again introduced sa local market. The all malt (green label) was good, almost as good as SMB Premium. It even have a stronger variant (Red label) which has around 7 to 8% ABV.

Got this at Landers at buy 1 take 1. Sayang nga kasi last two sa promo. You can’t go wrong with Guinness.

^^ Nice! Will snap a pic of my lineup this weekend too hehe.

For tonight, I had the Nocturnum.

The Delirium Nocturnum is basically a dark Tripel with a muddy amber pigment and khaki foam. Definitely not as bitter as other dark beers and it even has an ever-so-slight fruity aftertaste. You can taste the alcohol too, btw, but not to the point of it tasting like moonshine/lambanog (it's 8.5% ABV). Not what I'd consider a traditional dark beer but still a very good brew.

And this is coming from a non-dark beer guy. ;-)

IPA (India Pale Ale) lovers may want to check this out. It's quite rare here but if you do find one, grab it immediately. It's from Northern California, not THAT exotic, but there seems to be no local importers to Manila.

This is the best IPA I have ever tasted. I've had quite a few, from many different places, but this one is definitely numero uno.

This is a throwback photo from a pre-pandemic trip I had where I hauled 4 bottles of Kölsch back home to QC. Thankfully, all 4 reached my fridge without mishap.

Kölsch beer is unique to Cologne although a few craft breweries overseas claim their renditions taste the same or are close enough. Make sure to drink it very cold and in a cold environment.

after more than 16years or more than pa baka 20years na eh uminom na ako ulit super dry na matangal na nasa ref lang.

We are a family na non-alcoholic. Pinamimigay lang namin mga nireregalo alak like johnny walker, chivas, red wine...

Pero ang sarap talaga super dry. Hindi ko naramdaman lagpas kalahati na. This is my gimik beer sila ni smirnoff mule pink bottle. Pag wala super dry ang alternative ko red horse.

Hindi ko talaga magets ano meron sa punggok na pale pilsen napakagaspang malansa.
