Recently, pinakamasarap na beer is Hitachino Nest red rice ale.

It's available in 1210 in Makati.

That’s the non-alcoholic product of Paulaner. Try the Dunkel, better than Hoegaarden if you ask me.

Which bar do you get this IPA? What’s the ABV? Local or imported?

Does he bottle his craft beer commercially? Or he just sell them at bars served from the tap?

Local craft beers are beginning to get some acknowledgement. The first successful commercial brands like Katipunero and those brands from Tagaytay were just OK. Those craft beers from Baguio were quite good (Search for Pugaw). I have tasted a Coconut-flavored stout from Tarlac (Laughing Carabao) and it had that distinct unique taste, like fresh “tuba”. Another surprising one is a local version of the Belgian trappist beer which is brewed in Parañaque and quite affordable (Tripel Bel-Ale). Last Friday, I got a taste of the Engkanto Double IPA and it does have that strong kick to it but surprisingly smooth.

    Yep, that's the non-alcoholic variant.

I was hoping to buy a bottle of their lager but it wasn't available. The one i drank at a capital commons bar was soooo good.

I'll try the dunkel if i see one at the grocery. The chimay beer is available there but their bottles are relatively small kaya namamahalan ako Best Beer for you
