sarap yang itik catherina. kaya lang nalalansahan yung ibang kumakain. ako di naman.
some say, their meat becomes fishy tasting when these ducks are being fed with too much snails like kuhol and suso.

There used to be a series of resto along the lake in Bicutan. Most popular appitizer is their fried balut.
To date, everytime we go to drink in some watering holes at meron dumaan na magbabalut, i will buy
and tell the cook how to do it.

For those who want to try it, just fry in small amount of olive oil or margarine with lots of garlic (depends sa taste nyo).
Pag medyo going yellow na yung garlic put the unshelled balut (yung boiled na balut ha, not raw) including the sabaw into the
hot oil with garlic. Stir/roll the balut to even hot the surface for about a minute. Serve in sizzling plate with the oil & garlic.
    Ssssaaaarrrrraaaaap ang bango pa !!!
