if i am filthy rich! why not? Kanya kanyang dream and ambitions lang yan. If people ask me if i do not feel guilty if i see homeless people with leftovers as dinner, i would say no. If i am that rich and able to afford a ferrari, i would definitely have enough spare to give to charity institutions. Of course i cannot feed all the hungy.

I was caught up with this topic about Ferrari because I live just across the Formula Sports Inc. Showroom right now 575 Maranello and Maserati coupe is on display, There are two types of Ferrari, a V8 and a V12 right now in the V8 range is the F430 which sells in more accurate price of 24M registration and insurance included. In the V12 the upcoming 599 GTB will reach the 30M mark.

Ferrari has a universal enigma which when you have one translates to the universe how much money you have and how fearless you are to spend it, If you buy a Ferrari, consider the factors around owning one. Like having a higher ratio that your a next kidnapp victim and some people might think why you didn't consider the Porsche Turbo which is the same horsepower but much cheaper at 11M. But the biggest question in my mind is why are there some gray market selling a Ferrari besides the Formula Sports which is the authorized dealer of Ferrari in the Philippines, what is their selling point? The authorized dealer gives more security when you decided to spend 24M in a car, you have access to the authorize Service Center in Makati with unlimited warranty. If you buy a Ferrari outside the authorize dealer then you have a bigger problem who's gonna fix it when it's broken? when you need a spare parts or a knowledgable mechanic where do you go to? Of course you will try the authorized Service Center but you don't have a warranty, and this means you need more money to pay for things that should be free.

Well said, but I think that's why a lot of people say "If they can buy one..."

I'll never own a Ferrari here. In a third-world country, people driving these are hot items and very potential kidnap victims. I recently saw someone driving a 550 but with a Landcruiser full of bodyguards behind. For me, it doesn't make sense having such car as a possession while being afraid of everyone else on the road.

If I live in richer countries, I may consider owning one, but being a better fan of fun and functionality than glamor and exclusivity, Ferrari must offer a driving experience manufacturers like Porsche can't.

True. Walang masama roon, okey lang ang mangarap! I find it slightly amusing that a lot of people here say that "No, it would be in bad taste" or even the more amusing "No, it would be impractical, I'd get a Porsche instead".

I've got nothing against the guys who said no. It's just that, in MY version of a dream world, I'd have the Ferrari AND the Porsche AND the private chopper. I don't have "just" P50M to spend... make that say, P50B. I can also dream that widespread poverty/hunger/disease be gone and world peace be attained, just to shut up my conscience.

Sure, but you don't buy an Enzo. You get sold one.

i see ferraris and porsches cruising along nasugbu on weekends and i admire the owners for having one. And most of the time the drivers looks like on their mid 40's and older. It must be their dream to drive and own one. they may look like an easy target for the kidnappers and hooligans pero the target nowadays are not the super rich people but the middle class families.
