i'm not referring to anyone specifically, on this forum or otherwise, but this is the problem with buying expensive cars - you have a tendency to be judged, or have assumptions made about you, whether they are true or not. and they are never good.

it doesn't even have to be a ferrari, sometimes you get that stigma from driving "just" a bimmer or merc.

it sucks because many people who have expensive cars worked hard for their money, and would like to enjoy the fruits of their labors a little bit. but when they do they get all these people trying to tell them how to live their lives.

All I'm saying that he has the right to buy anything he wants thru honest means. He may not be a philanthrophist but it also does not make him evil and deserving of more misfortune. for all we know he donated more money to charity. the fact is, WE DON't KNOW ****. Mr. Wilkes (the German guy) is like Mother Theresa.... realistically, they are one in a million. I don't think any of us are capable of such degree of charity....and you don't need to be a millionaire to give to charity. We can sell our pricey cellphones and feed street kids right now--but are we doing it? we can sell the CRV and buy a vitara and give the rest to charity too.

His safety is his problem and not ours

dude, this is a CAR FORUM....that is why a Ferrari ( how many Ferraris are there in the metropolis?) colliding with a truck is a big issue
i just hope he was able to buy the Ferrari through his hard-earned money......but if it was through corruption, kickbacks from government contracts or through evil ways, then mabuti nga at nabangga siya
