as far as i know, which isn't much, as my experience is limited to only one...
there's no fixed time/interval. play it by ear, po. i have seen it from 3 to 6 months to as much as 1.5 years...
i have seen it 2 years.. but hindi na sila na-tuloy. heh heh..

in my case, wala nang engagement ring.. we opted to buy something more practical instead.. buti na lang wifey is not into expensive borloloys..
