Clarification. I am not saying those are my chatmates.
General observation ko lang looking at some attractive girls, known or unknown to me.

Although sa panahon ngayon, even online there are ways to see almost everything about a person.

Bikinis aren't exclusive only for the beach now.

Also, I don't disagree with you to not waste too much time online kung seryoso ka naman.

of course start with chatting pero wag naman paabutin ng buwan o kalahating taon di pa nagkikita

it won't take a month of chatting to get to know someone

it won't even take 2 weeks (memorize mo na siguro routine and lifestyle ng ka-chat mo if you message each other non-stop for 2 weeks)

so kung ok naman kayo sa chat, next is magkita kayo

coz malaking bagay ung makasama mo ung tao

since madami na kayo napagusapan before meeting... meeting in person is now less about finding out about personality, ugali...

it's now about observing how the person talks, how they walk, move... how you feel pag kasama mo...

It came to a point na may ipina-meet pang lalaki si girl writer to stand in for her to assuage the player's doubts.
Of course she's clueless about it. I've actually seen the pictures of their supposed meet up.
This lasted for almost a year yata before the player finally learned of the sham arrangement.
Buti she got to move on from that and is now happily married with kids.

Sa twitter lang, so many instances of similar stories going viral. Only the cast of characters change.
What's surprising to me is that some of the victims seem to be very capable of hooking up naman in the real world.
Maganda/ pogi naman, matalino, outgoing... with a full circle of attractive friends.
Pero they fall for these shady characters instead.

I will never understand posers. Who are they fooling? People that don't matter (strangers) and themselves. There are those that lie about their education, family background, financial status etc pero ang matindi yung nag assume ng character ng iba (PSYCHO!) The talented Mr Ripley vibes!

Lalabas din naman ang katotohanan May nabasa ako sa reddit (now that's a rabbit hole), yung mga mahilig mag hook up online, since there are VCs na, they know what to expect physically, pero dami ko na nabasa bad breath, BO or stinks down there and yet they still went through with the hook up
