That's a perfect all-in-one: Vivere Skyline, right in front of Festival Mall, Alabang... terrific view, because it's the only tall building in the area.

    For a really special date:

Check into the hotel after lunch. Set a reservation with the spa (31st floor, right beside the restaurant). Let her relax, get a massage, then a hot bubble bath in the room, then a romantic candlelight dinner on the roofdeck restaurant (complete with piano music, thank God the World Cup is over!), then retire to a relaxing night's rest. The breakfast buffet is also a good wake-me-up before you check out...

If you can't spend on the hotel room (best room is the 5 - 6k one bedroom corner suite, with an L-shaped window facing the city, 20th - 27th floors), the other two will be fine, the spa has its own bathtubs. Price for massages are from 300-1000+ (I think), food isn't very expensive for a hotel, the two of you can eat within 600-700 pesos.

We did this with our baby on New Year's Eve (hard to get a room, they were all booked in advance!) to watch the fireworks, pero bad trip, there was a crowd and a band. It was fun to watch the sporadic fireworks shows afterwards, though, from the hotel room window.

If it's just lunch, Gulliver's (? Is that right ?) in the Great Aberdeen Plaza on Quezon Avenue is great. Huge steaks and great Sea Bass dish.
