Eto, para todo iyak kapag nag-propose ka. Awayin mo sya ng awayin for a week before a huge gathering with lots of people, like Xmas, New Year, new year ng chinese. Of course, unexpected na mag-pro-propose ka since lagi kayong may misunderstanding lately, then bago kumain ang mga tao or kayo ng pamilya mo, lumuhod ka na kapatid. Magkahalong inis at tuwa, yan ang pinakamagandang pagmasdan sa isang babae. Hindi masyadong sweet, hindi masyandong corny, hindi too cold, patok na patok yan.

ask her to find something for you like sa glovebox ng paj/benz and tell her baka nandun 'ung matagal mo nang hinahanap..
put the empty box of the ring (have the ring with you), with her name on it,
it would be nice kung yun lang ang laman ng glove box..
and then call her name, kapag harap nya sa'yo..
"nakita mo na yung matagal kong hinanap?"
show her the ring and ask her 'ikaw, ito ba ang hinahanap mo?' ..

this will be super-expensive, but the best proposal in my recent memory was for an employee of mine. she was supposed to meet her BF for "dinner" one friday. little did she know was that he had rented a yacht, crew and chef at enormous expense, bought a ring, and 'kidnapped' her to the Florida Keys. he proposed on the boat on the way over, at a table set for two with the sun setting over the Atlantic.

btw, he also packed a bag of her stuff, called me to ask for a week's time off for her (and to make sure i wouldn't make her work late on friday, hehe), so nag impromptu vacation din sila.

when i asked her how it went, sabi niya hindi lang immediate "yes", automatic laglag panty pa :bwahaha:

tep, wag mo gagayahin yung pinalabas dati sa tv na nagpropose sa isang game sa US. live broadcast kaso sinampal nung babae tapos biglang iwan yung lalake. pati yung popcorn nya binuhos dun sa lalake.
seriously, kung me winch lang sana yung paj mo ganda gawin sa trail. yun bang tipong me iwiwinch kang malaking obstacle tapos lalabas yung proposal mo. offroad na offroad ang dating.
