It will take time to get over a broken heart and it varies from person to person. Listening to love songs will magnify the wound and it will hurt like hell. Listening to noisy music in the hopes of numbing the pain will magnify the sadness. Getting involved with a new person in the hopes of forgeting your love, will not work. You will always be reminded of your love no matter what you do. They say time heals but that just pep talk. We all know they remain forever in our memories. Memories are not just stored data in our brain. It comes bundled with emotions. Try saying their name and you'll get triggered and you'll experience the emotions all over again. However, this is only true for true love.
True love is something one needs to watch out for. It's the most beautiful emotion one can ever experience - the very reason why we exist. However, if gets damaged, you'll be damaged for life. There's no way to heal it for the scar remains forever.
Some people recover quickly. That's not true love at all. You were never trully in love from the beginning. You do feel genuine love when you say, "I love you" and all the emotions associated with it. But, it's only superficial. It really never penerated deep within your very being. There's no bond. That's why when you break up, you tend to recover quickly and move on. This is the safest love one can venture into. No scars and no healing required. True love is something extremely dangerous, but sometimes worth dying every day for without hopes of recovering.
actually, nothing works.
what will work, are:
1. poor memory; and
2. something better comes along.
Somehow, getting brokenhearted already for three years got me here. I was never interested spending my hard earned money buying a car. But then, when she gave up on me, and I totally lost her, all my dreams with her were thrashed. Now, I am here. Trying eagerly to look for a good buy car out of a small budget. The money was first intended for her, for a simple wedding sana. Kaso wala na talaga. [emoji174][emoji174][emoji174]
something like, "...elmer... if you don't report here at 8 am on da dot everyday... you're fired!" ?
if i know elmer, elmer will get fired.
UNLESS... the girl is the boss'es daughter.
that is a totally different story!
but after a certain time limit, it already becomes pathologic.
as in... neurotic, if not psychotic.
hey! we each of us, are neurotic in some manner. we just manage to pass ourselves up as normal.
