I think it might be a challenge to find a good engagement ring given your budget. Visit the jewelry shops in Shoppesville (in Greenhills), they have a wide variety of rings to choose from and hopefully one will fit your budget. Probably you can get a ring with 'brilliantitos' stones with a thin white-gold band. Good luck! :D

this thread reminds me of the time i proposed to my wife. i didnt have too much money then. so i bought a ladies watch (branded orig naman, not fake). when the time came, i opened the case and said "will you be mine for all time?" syempre yes and sagot hehehe

now im trying to save up for the real ring.

I gave my then GF (now my wife) a ring. But, we never called it our engagement ring.....

Hindi naman kasi uso rito ang formal engagement,- complete with party and official announcement.....

I proposed to my wife on the phone so I never had a chance to give her an engangement ring. For the wedding band we picked a design from the Tiffany's website, she had made in the Philippines and we picked it up the afternoon before our civil wedding. I told her I'll just give her a new wedding ring every five years to upgrade the ones we have now, like what my dad would do for my mom. In two years I gotta give her the first upgrade.

i just passed the ECE Board that time, and i still do not have a job. So i gave my wife a friendship band that my sister made for that purpose.... hehehe.

guys, patulong naman, kung sakaling may budget po ako ng 5k-10k, anu dapat ang hahanapin kung engagement ring?at san ako makakabili. plan ko na po magpropose sa GF ko this coming october at sa araw ng birthday niya(para tipid) tight budget talaga sa hirap ng buhay ngayun sa weeding ring nalang ako babawi?
