Sir... right now I'm building my dedicated home theater set up-- can you give me points on how to install bass traps, etc.. right now I'm on 9.2... hindi ko Alam kasi paano ilalagay yung mga acoustic foams...

Me at age 18 my Lolo gave me a lot at Marikina and at age 20 I acquired a small 25sq. House and lot in Q.C. and at 23yrs old.. i bought a 75sqm house and lot at San Mateo rizal.... at age 40 I acquired a lot at fairview and ngayon palang ako nagpapa tayo ng not exactly my dream house but it's my hard earned money.... simple lang... pero baka dito na ako tumanda....

Pampasikip lang home theater, *glenn, manood ka ng total recall, dapat ganun lang setup sa future, eveything will be in the cloud.

I bet, malaki yung bahay at lupa mo Sir, dedicated 9.2 system eh. Nice. Just to give you an idea for traps/foam placement,

Mejo may kamahalan mga bass traps at acoustic foams. But you can diy. You can use rockwools, then balutan mo na lang ng breathable fabrics of your choice to compliment your interiors and furnitures.
Btw, I'm running 9/11.2, but I think I'm gonna try 7.2.4 Atmos.

28. Sariling sikap, 10-12 hours work sa office everyday para my OT pay, then after 10 years fully paid na, though hindi ako nakabili ng slightly used Honda Civic na pinaglalawayan ko at pinapanaginipan all through those years nor nakapagmigrate sa Canada like my best friend, dahil nagamit ko pera pang down sa bahay.

Yung mga house and lot niyo purely own money or with help from family? (eg downpayment, inheritance, gift, marriage etc)

We bought our lot through our savings. Although I have an inheritance, it remains pretty much untouched due to an agreement between me and my siblings as both parents are gone (too soon). We treat that as the last thing we will receive from family so we keep that on the side and live within our own income.

I have a bad record sa pagibig housing. Di nailipat sa name nya yun housing loan ko nun sumalo. Then napabyaan gang na forclose na yun property.
Sadly di na ko pede mag housing loan ulit sa pagibig.
By any means, posible pa kya yun mabago? Tia

At age 25, nakatira lang ako sa ate ko Coming from a failed marriage, I was zero bankrupt, no work, with no educational attainment.
High school lang dahil sa maaga ako nag asawa. Medyo swerte sa business.
At age 33 meron na ko house and lot, nauna ko nabili lot then after a year nagpatayo ako ng house, Now I'm 42, medyo marami rami ng naipundar, lots, condos, cars.

at 23 i was living on my own, in an apartment own by my parents, at 28 i have my own house, around 30 my father died, what he left me i invested in commercial apartments and warehouses, when my unica reaches college, we'll just downgrade, if she wants to go to DLSU or UP, ill rent out our house then get a condo unit walking distance from that school....kahit 25-28sqm is big enough for us.

I mentioned earlier that I didn't own my own house until I was in my upper 30's. But, that was because I was still active duty.

I got my first job and my first apartment at 22 not long after I returned here. I couldn't count on much from my uncle because he had his own kids to take care of. It was rough that first few years and I ended up enlisting because there was no other way I can live on my own and resume my college education without incurring a lot of debt.

I did rent a number of houses and apartments when I was single. The best one was a fully furnished 1-bedroom house in Idaho. It was the size of a regular apartment. But, the big thing about it was it sat by itself. No shared wall with other residents which meant I can make all the noise I want. Between the PC games I played and the music I listened to, I was quite noisy.
