How high is enough?
If just going in a straight line, 6000+hp on a Top Fuel dragster will get you past the 1/4 mile mark in less than 5 seconds.
Formula 1 cars (which need to corner) are around the 900hp mark, but last only a weekend or two.
For practical reasons, just for street use, as long as it can haul the entire car around with not much effort, that would be fine... basta hindi "underpowered".
a 270hp stock evo 6 would be fine with me
since i live in the bottom of the philippines, reliability is a must, kaya stock lang. tapos in order to make it wuicker, carbon fiber hood and trunk na lang, tapos diet ang driver to lose 50 lbs

diba pwede naman daily driver ang evo if you're willing to live with a stiff clutch and the mileage? heheh.
hmmmm, siguro yung audi na twin turbo na station wagon na lang. nakita ko sa local TV auto show last week. ang lupit din.
andy
hmmmmmm, pwede na rin yan sa akin
hehehehehehe
paano ko kaya ipa-service yan dito sa gen. santos? sige na nga, di na lang ako bibili, kasi walang casa dito

the maybach 57 is rated at 24mpg city. that's about 5km/L. parang Exped lang yun. and hindi na naglalayo from my car
600hp yata yun eh. tapos 16" yung disks (not yung wheels.. yung brake disks)
malalamon ka na dun sa luxury niya.
you dont need too much HP for a daily car, where are you going to use it.
since i am dreaming already, i'd rather get the audi kasi orig LHD, i don't think they made a LHD legnum? if they did, yun na lang

How high is enough? There will always be need for more, man is invia as they say.
But a lot depends on the driver... and his pocket/needs.
I make do on the daily grind with my 87hp oil burner, even on long drives and i find the power i need to get there reliably and fast enough (but of course added power won't hurt :P).
Just to add, on a track most drivers won't even be able to exploit their 100whp 1600 sedan to it's fullest potential. The HP will just get you to the corners faster.
