langya, tumahimik makina ko nung nagpalit ako to Castrol. mas gumanda pa takbo.
    +1

agree to this one. naging smooth din takbo, easy cold starts pati...and one of the most affordable semi-syn in the market.

on diesels itim naman agad yung oil no matter what it is made of. even if you start the engine for 5 mins lang, pag akyat mo ng dipstick black na sya.

on high milage engines just match the viscosity you were using before when you switch to synthetic oil and you should be ok.

    First post po.

    Regular ba yun o semi-synthetic?

it should say it on the bottle normally. look at the back.

it may just be thicker oil kaya nawala leak... problem is some oils tend to sludge and if the sludge is what is stopping the leaks then that is even worse.

Its not true during warranty you should use only toyota oil. you can use other oil as long as it meets the minimum specs of toyota oil. I have asked Toyota Phils. It wont void your warranty. Beware when change oil especially during first 1,000 km check up, dont allow them to flush your engine with engine flush oil, its not advisable AND IT WILL DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD TO YOUR ENGINE. I experienced this to my toyota innova. Dont rely fully the service advisor, they are more interested on profit than service.

migs, I also saw this valvoline max life at true value, viscosity I think were 10w-30, 10w-40...semi lang ba ito or fully synth na?

I think from what I remember meron yata silang additives for seal, gasket conditioner daw...

Just had my oil changed yesterday. I used Mag1 10w30 fully synthetic oil. 4.5 liters lahat. Cost nya per liter is P300 petot, made in USA per label. Oil used prior to this is Emerat 20w50. Also had my air filter and fuel filter replaced na rin.
