    Guys, I would like to ask your help. Can you recommend to me what kind/ brand of oil, oil filter and spark plug should I use for my 97 Civic Vti A/T.

    I normally bring it to car shops for change oil and other maintenance and I noticed that the prices of these products are a bit jacked up. I am planning for my next oil change to just buy these items from car stores ang just pay for the labor of the mechanic. I think it is a bit cheaper.

    Oil may not necessarily be fully synthetic. If you can provide the prices so much the better. Also i would appreciate if you can recommend stores or malls where these items are cheaper from other sources. thanks a lot for the usual help.

    engine oil: try motul h100. its around 380/liter
    oil filter: OEM
    sparkplugs:OEM NGK or Denso Iridium

    Engine oil: Kung tamang budget lang:

    Mineral oil (all 20w-50):
    -Shell Helix Super (yellow bottle, P620-P650/gallon)
    -Caltex Havoline Formula (red cap, P580-P620/gallon)
    -Mobil1 Super XHP (P650-680/gallon) <= rare, kung may mahahanapan ka!
    -Castrol GTX (P620-P650/gallon)
    -Total Quartz 5000 SM (P600-P630/gallon)

    Semi-syn:
    -Helix Plus (10w-40, P1k+/gallon)
    -Castrol Magnatec (10w-40, P960-P1k+/gallon) <= naglabasan na po sa mga auto supply 'to
    -Total Quartz 7000 (15w-50, P960-P1k+/gallon) <= I'm using this one!
    -Mobil Super S (15w-40, P1.2k?+/gallon) <= rare, hirap maghanap nga lang, just giving you reference!

    Fully-Syn??? Kahit di na siguro kung tight budget ka lang naman, OKS na kahit semi-syn!

    Oil filter: BEST if OEM parin, medyo pricey nga lang! You could also try the well-known 'VIC' Oil Filters (P140+?) (Warning: Make sure you find the authentic one...dameng fakes naglabasan nito!)
    Sparkplugs: stock NGK (P90-P100/plug), or Bosch Platinum (P130-P140/plug)

    NOTE: *All you can purchase/canvass at your suking auto supply, gas stations or malls near you! :D

    for filters we use vic. plugs we use NGK.

    oil we use motul
