    Good day to all,

this is what happened to me last week.

Car: Nissan Sentra Series 3 1996
Given: Newly change battery, sparkplug, & ignition coil

while cruising (aircon on), I felt that my engine was about to shutdown because whenever i stepped on the gas it feels like the gas isn’t working even though my foot is already on a full press (its like my ubo yun kotse). After a while the engine died and the car had a hard start, what I did was I let the car rest for seconds then started again. The car started however when I turned-on the aircon the car was about to shut down again so turned-off the aircon and got home.

    Mga Sirs, here’s my question:
    1. What could be the problem of my car is it about the aircon, Fuel filter, Oil pump etc. or distributor?
    2. Any recommendations for repair or shops?

Your reply will be greatly appreciated.
    Maraming salamat Tsikot!

Could be a problem with the aircon compressor. It might be difficult to turn because of a wear & tear with its bearings or internal parts.

car engines never die. they stall! sounds like you have a problem with the ignition system. is your ignition coil located in the distributor? is your ignition coil showing signs of high voltage leak characterized by white traces around the ferrite core? have your ignition evaluated first. don't take guesses. have the results quantified (there has to be numbers not guess feeling)

A bad ignition control module will cause that problem as well.

what are the causes if Car Stop while driving and started after a while
